In Turkish it is Yoldaş, and in Russian it is Товарищ, so you may want to add that.

@Freien you forgot Genossin (female version of Genosse)

True. My German is not the best, so I didn't think of that.

wouldn't Deutsch be Kamerad/Kameradin?

Kamerad is mostly used in the military and because of that it is also used by some fascists. Genosse is the word that more accurately resembles "comrade" in the German language.

In the DPRK or northern half of Korea it is "tongmu", meaning "a fellow man fighting for the revolution" and while the word is masculine it is still gender neutral in North Korea. In the south they don't use this word anymore, likely due to the authoritarian, hyper anti-communist type regimes that have been governing the South.

You mean: this kinda completes it! I didn't even know some of these languages existed, to be honest. (Also, the Croation translation is interesting)

Okay, this looks completed now. Thanks for your contribution, everyone!

Some of those I don't think are correct, especially the ones that are simply listed as "comrade."  For instance, if one peruses an online Hmong dictionary they will find the word for comrade in that language is "thooj tsib" (which makes much more sense, as it is phonetically similar to "tōngzhǐ" in Mandarin). Upon searching a Yoruba language dictionary, the word for comrade is "çnikejìolùkùçlêgbê," in Nepali it is "विश्वासी साथी", etc.

Irish: comrádaí

Latin: socius

Lao: ອະນຸຄາມີ

Yoruba: çnikejìolùkùçlêgbê

I couldn't find translations for Sesotho or Malagasy yet, so this isn't quite comprehensive.

Hey guys! I think this is a cool idea, but in Somali, comrade isn't Saxiib. Saxiib in Somali means friend, but the word comrade would be more "Jaale", at least in the dialect I learned it in.
